Slat Top Steel Chains are used mainly in industries involving glass containers.

Slat Top Steel Chains are strong chains and suitable for applications running at high-speed.

Straight Running

Single & Double Hinge Steel Chains

Suitable for soft drink and brewery bottling plants (also for glass bottles).

Mainly used for inline feeders and pressureless combiners.

Single Hinge

  • uni 810 is made of hardened carbon steel
  • uni 812 is made of ferritic stainless steel
  • uni 815 is made of austenitic stainless steel and is suitable for the Wine Industry

Double Hinge 

Relatively high tensile strength which can be utilized for long conveyors or for large and heavy items.

  • uni 800 is made of hardened carbon steel
  • uni 802 is made of ferritic stainless steel

Side Flexing

Steel Chains featuring Tabs and Bevels

Suitable for:

  • Soft drink and brewery bottling plants

Tab

Equipped with welded tabs to retain the chain in the curved conveyor sections.

Can be supplied with a ground surface for widths up to 190.5 mm (7.50 in).

  • uni 881 Tab V2 is made of ferritic stainless steel
  • uni 881 Tab V3 is made of austenitic stainless steel

Bevel

Equipped with bevels to retain the chain in the curved conveyor sections.

Can be supplied with a ground surface for widths up to 190.5 mm (7.50 in).

  • uni 881 Bevel V2 is made of austenitic stainless steel

Plus+ Range

Features:

Mainly for conveying glass bottles in curves.

Magnetic

Retained in the curved conveyor sections by magnets built into the curves. The advantage is that the chain can easily be taken off these sections for cleaning, replacement of wear strips etc.

Tab

Equipped with welded tabs to retain the chain in the curved conveyor sections.
The hinge-eye design on uni 8811 Tab gives a more closed surface on the chain, leading to steadier conveying of products.
